How to enable and use the mini PCIe port on a DSGW-210

Hello everyone,

I have a DSGW-210 board that features what looks like a functional mini PCIe port. Based on the hardware, it appears to support USB and UART signals (instead of standard PCIe lanes). I’ve tried connecting various devices (both USB‐based and UART‐based modules), but so far the system does not detect or recognize them.

Could anyone advise on how to enable or configure this port so the devices can be used? Is there some specific kernel module, firmware setting, or hardware jumper/switch that needs to be activated? Any pointers to documentation or steps would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

I had some back and forth with Dusun as we where evaluating the platform. Bad news it is not minipcie, write connector it used with one of the option modules, Lora I think…

Hello Law, I understood that the mini PCIe port is not a full PCIe interface, just the connector. However, I’m very interested in knowing which interfaces are actually available and the pinout. For my use case, having either UART or USB functionality would be perfectly fine. Do you have any documentation or details on how these interfaces are wired?

Thanks in advance!
